# Buzz

> Buzz (getbuzz.ing) is a giveaway and campaign platform for brands, creators and businesses, made for Nigeria and the rest of Africa and usable anywhere. Organizers launch a branded giveaway page in minutes. Entrants join free with their email. Winners are picked by an auditable random draw and paid the way people in Nigeria actually receive prizes: bank transfer, airtime, data, bills paid directly, or delivery to their door.

Buzz exists because social media giveaways are hard to trust: fake accounts copy real ones, winners are picked privately, and prizes sometimes never arrive. Every Buzz campaign shows the organizer's verified social accounts, publishes its rules, draws winners in a way anyone can check, and can post public proof that each prize was delivered.

## Prizes Buzz is built for

Each prize has a delivery method, and the winner's private claim form asks only for what that method needs. Account numbers are never posted in public comments.

- Cash to a bank account: Cash paid into the winner’s bank account, including OPay, PalmPay or Moniepoint.
- Mobile money: Cash sent to a mobile money wallet, like M-Pesa, MTN MoMo or Airtel Money.
- Airtime top-up: Call credit sent straight to the winner’s phone.
- Mobile data: A data bundle sent straight to the winner’s phone.
- A bill, paid for them: The organizer pays a bill directly: electricity, school fees, rent, cable TV or internet.
- Gift card or voucher: A gift card, shopping voucher or digital code, sent by email.
- Delivered to their door: A physical prize, like a phone, gadget or fashion item, sent to the winner.
- Food or hamper delivery: Foodstuff, a bag of rice or a festive hamper, delivered to the winner.
- Event tickets: Tickets to a concert, show or event, sent to the winner.
- Collect in person: The winner picks the prize up, or it’s handed over at an event.
- Organizers can also write their own claim questions for anything else.

Prize values can be shown in NGN, GHS, KES, ZAR, USD, GBP, EUR, CAD or AUD.

## Ways to enter

- Verify an email address (always first, so each person enters once).
- Follow, like, repost, comment or join on X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn, Twitch, Discord, Telegram, Spotify and more. Buzz labels these self-reported: social platforms don't let anyone verify a follow, and Buzz doesn't pretend to. Organizers can ask for a proof link and review it.
- Invite friends: a referral counts only after the friend confirms their email and takes part, so clicks alone earn nothing.
- Answer a question or a survey, enter a secret code, visit a page daily, submit a link or upload a photo.

## Why entrants and organizers can trust it

- Verified organizers: an organizer proves they own their X or Instagram account through that platform's own sign-in before they can publish. Entrants can check a giveaway post really came from that account.
- Auditable draws: Buzz freezes the entry list, commits to a secret random seed before drawing, and publishes an audit file anyone can use to re-run the draw.
- Proof of delivery: organizers post a public proof page for each prize delivered, with a photo, shareable on social media. Winners are named only if they agree.
- Fair fraud handling: shared Wi-Fi or networks are a warning sign, never an automatic ban. Held entrants can appeal.
- Anyone can report a campaign to Buzz. Staff review reports and can pause or end a campaign that breaks the rules.
- Some prizes aren't allowed: weapons, drugs, tobacco and vapes, betting credit and lottery tickets, adult services and live animals.
